Chief Executive Officer - Linea Aqua

Ashiq brings a wealth of industry experience to his current role as the CEO of Linea Aqua. Prior to this appointment, Ashiq was the CEO of Noyon Lanka (Private) Limited since September 2017, guiding the organisation's strategic direction and ensuring performance and growth especially during the challenging period of the global pandemic and economic turbulence post 2020.

Ashiq's two decades of experience at MAS, began in Merchandising at Shadowline in the year 2000. Soon after, in 2001, he was appointed as a member of a core team selected to set up and run MAS’ operations in Madagascar as Manager Merchandising and Planning where he also overlooked the functions of Sourcing, Logistics and Warehousing.

On his return to SriLanka, he continued to progress through various pivotal roles, including Business Manager, Head of Business and in 2011 was appointed Business Director at MAS Active where he served on the Executive Committee. He went on to serve as the Director of Strategic Planning & Business Support at MAS Holdings, contributing significantly to driving the overall MAS strategy and fostering sustainable growth.

Ashiq holds multiple qualifications in Marketing (MCIM), Finance (MCMA), Law (LLB) and Textile Technology whilst also holding an MBA from the University of Colombo.
