Ranesh Handunnetti has led Silueta (Pvt) Ltd as Chief Executive Officer since 2017, bringing over 20 years of expertise in apparel manufacturing, innovation, and product development. Under his leadership, Silueta has become a key solutions provider in the global apparel industry, pioneering sustainable and cutting-edge technologies.

Ranesh joined MAS in 1997 as a Production Executive at MAS Intimates-Unichela Panadura. He advanced through leadership roles in production, technical management, and product development, serving as Director of Product Development at MAS Intimates, where he drove innovation in product design and technical capabilities.

In 2011, he was appointed Director of Manufacturing at Silueta, playing a pivotal role in developing the company’s thermal moulding expertise and establishing it as the region’s largest bra cup manufacturer. His strategic direction also positioned Silueta as a leader in no-sew innovation and bonding technology for intimate wear and performance apparel. He was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2015 and CEO in 2017.

Beyond MAS, Ranesh combines technical expertise with business acumen, focusing on lean transformation and leadership development. He has trained at institutions such as MIT, the University of Kentucky, and the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL).

He holds a BA (Hons) in Clothing from Manchester Metropolitan University and an MBA from the University of Leicester. His academic foundation and industry experience continue to drive Silueta’s mission to innovate and lead in apparel manufacturing.
