RAJITHA JAYASURIYA

Director Corporate Affairs - MAS Holdings

As the Director Corporate Affairs, Rajitha gives leadership to the Group’s Legal, Compliance and Corporate Communications functions.

Having established MAS’ legal function in 2004, Rajitha was responsible for building a dynamic and savvy team comprising of corporate law and intellectual property counsel who support MAS’ global operations and, was instrumental in developing MAS’ Intellectual Property strategy in support of the organisation’s pivot from a contract manufacturer to an innovation-led design-to-delivery solution provider. She is a trusted advisor to the organisation and its leadership, and plays a key role in safeguarding MAS’ interests, overseeing its global compliance & policy development, merges & acquisitions and intellectual property management.

Rajitha is also a custodian of MAS’ global brand development strategy and is entrusted with nurturing and strengthening MAS’ relationships with its key business partners and external stakeholders in trade, government, regulatory bodies.

An Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, Rajitha holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from Monash University Melbourne, Australia and has followed Executive Development Programmes at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, National University Singapore and Executive Leadership Development Programmes conducted by Doug Adams and the Centre for Creative Leadership.
