AJAY AMALEAN

Co-Founder

Ajay Amalean is a co-founder of MAS and has served in several positions across the group over his 30-year career. With his skill in product, Ajay led the design and product development function at MAS which today, stands as the largest design facility in Sri Lanka’s Apparel industry. Ajay also was the driving force behind establishing and growing amanté, the regions top lingerie brand founded by MAS. Ajay’s passion is working with people, connecting with individuals at all levels and is considered by many as the heart of MAS.

Ajay has transitioned to a new phase in his life's journey, focusing on his passion for giving back to the community. He represents MAS as a Trustee on the board of the AYATI Foundation, driving his purpose to give all children with disabilities an equal opportunity to reach their true potential in life.

Ajay is an alumni of Royal College, Colombo and IIT Madras (Mechanical Engineering).
